Herbert Bischof studied Economics at the University of Innsbruck. During his studies and until the end of the 1990s he worked as a trainer Leader for various institutions in the fields of communication, economics and IT. After a trainee program at a bank (1997/1998), he obtained the Business Auditor Diploma (specialization IT Auditing) for Switzerland (2002) and Liechtenstein (2003), as well as the Trustee Diploma (2004).
From 1999 he worked two and a half years as an Auditing Assistant for ReviTrust Revisions AG in Schaan. Afterwards he spent 5 years as a Member of the Executive Board of an Audit & Trust Company in Vaduz.
Further certification such as an IS Manager and IS Auditor according to ISO 20000 and 27000, EFQM Assessor and Risk Manager according with ISO 31000 followed.
In 2008 he founded the PFI-Group and has been a Board Member and Managing Partner of BDO (Liechtenstein) AG since 2013.
Since 1997 Herbert Bischof has practical auditing experience with focus on IT, SMEs and public institutions. He is also assisting and advising start-up’s and eCommerce enterprises.
He is a Member of the Board of the Association of Auditors (www.wpv.li) and a member ofthe Liechtenstein Institute of Professional Trustees and Fiduciaries (www.thk.li) as well as EXPERTsuisse.
